Wale Akintunde

Before now, Wale was the Chief Operating Officer of the Centrespread Group, a 33 year old company known for building timeless brands across different categories. He had also served as the Business and Finance Director of the group where he helped revitalize the business and aided the group reposition its abilities, resources and talents.

A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, he holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has several professional qualifications including Affiliate, Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK; Associate, Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria; Associate, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and other notable professional associations.

Mr. Wale Akintunde was Head of Finance in Duro Soleye Hospitals for over 9 years before joining Centrespread in 2004. He is currently the Honorary Treasurer of Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria.

He is a United-Nations-trained CISCO Certified Network Associate, and a certified International Marketing and Law of International Trade professional. Wale has been involved re-engineering of certain businesses such as UACR (Mr Biggís), Royal Crown Hotels, Mediamore Ltd, DKK & Associates Ltd among others.
